Single-component levelling paste, ready to use, with a base of special bitumens dispersed in water, formulated in the Valli Zabban Research and Development labs.
The product is extremely easy to use and apply and is used to even up and restore slopes on bituminous bases (smooth or slate coated bituminous membranes) before laying a new waterproofing layer. It can also be used to form wall-floor joining shells. SURFACE PREPARATION Thoroughly clean the base to remove: dust, friable parts, foreign substances or anything that could hinder adhesion. The product must only be applied to dry surfaces and bases. Bitumen-polymer membranes must have been oxidised for at least 180 days before applying the product. Parts of the membrane that are damaged, perforated, that show slight bumps and dips (creep), that are raised and have joins that are discontinuous or completely unsealed, must be repaired and sealed using SHELL TIXOPHALTE rubber-bituminous sealant
